This audio kinetic installation – an orchestra of robots is a constructed blend of media and different world cultures. The orchestra is composed of instruments / sculptures, for which the author found their inspiration in traditional groups and typical instruments from around the globe. They can be defined as animalistic–humanoid–mechanical anatomies that create stage situations through their form, action and light and are made of natural materials (paper, wood, leather and metal). Intertwining sounds of Africa, Asia and Europe span from traditional music all the way to electronic beats. The title of the installation derives from Sanskrit and stands for reverence, respect and giving honour.

Yaniv Shenster studied at the Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem. He composes dance-, theatre - and film music and is an expert in classical Persian music. Besides expressing his creativity through performance and by making innovative instruments, he also teaches drumming.
