Tugo Šušnik: Oxymoron II - Clever Nonsense

Painter, professor at the Ljubljana Fine Arts Academy and a perceptive art theoretician, Tugo Šušnik is a well-established exponent of Slovenian Modernism.  The Exhibition in Kazemate will show works which the artist calls “electro-prints” or “light images” which have been created in 2016. The basis for these works are his canvases painted between 2004 and 2015 which have been transferred by a special process onto electric surfaces. The colour and its luminescence are the central artistic highlight of Šušnik’s light paintings.
