David Jarh is a teacher of jazz trumpet and ensemble playing at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music. As a trumpet soloist, he also participates in the brass section of the RTV Slovenia Big Band. He has collaborated with internationally renowned names of jazz, such as Art Farmer, Duško Gojković, Bob Mintzer, Don Menza, Dick Oats and so on. In 2017, Jarh recorded the album Soulfull with his quartet, which features original compositions. He has been active as a teacher since the founding of the Jazz Department at the then Ljubljana Music and Ballet High School some twenty years ago.

The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 8.00 pm to 12:30 am. Live music commences at 9.00 pm.

Tickets can be purchased by 23:00, at the lower funicular station or at the entrance pavilion.

The ticket price includes a return journey on the funicular railway.
