American born Jonathan Kreisberg is considered one of today’s best jazz guitarists. Over the course of his 30-year career, he has made a name for himself that transcends status as a nimble bop guitarist to one of the foremost composers of modern jazz. Kreisberg's compositions are memorable, with one cleverly crafted twist. His melodies convey lightness as well as emotional depth and often appear in modified form in a song - in the guise of imitations or within sequences. A distinctive tone on the guitar combined with his technical prowess helps emphasize his artistry.
He has recorded 10 albums as a leader and he has performed with some of the greatest stars in jazz.

On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
