The current exhibition of painters and also life-partners Milena Usenik and Emerik Bernard at the Palatium and in the Estates Hall is a selection of works from their extensive year-long creative body of work, highlighting the last decade. Milena Usenik is exhibiting work from her Pop Art period and abstracted Istrian landscapes while Emerik Bernard’s contribution consists of collages, assemblages and photographs also inspired by the Istrian landscape. A walk through this exhibition is a walk through their daily as well as their artistic shared life, their “cohabitation”.
