For the fifth season in a row, the Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club makes its home in the Rock Hall, where renowned musicians perform in a pleasant club atmosphere. Due to the current government measures to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the December concert evenings have been moved to the Hribar Hall, where it will be possible to ensure a suitable distance between visitors.

For young women from the coastal region, the desire to create in a big band was a challenge that they engaged with fully in 2018. After several months of preparations and negotiations, they managed to gather enough musicians from the region and the new coastal big band soon started rehearsing. The members the Bend-it! Big Band are both professional musicians and musicians who are still studying. This enables the mutual transfer of knowledge and energy that the musicians feel when creating. Artistic director Lovro Ravbar believes it is important to play the big band classics while at the same time presenting his own original compositions with the big band. He also encourages other members to create their own original music, which means that the big band is always moving towards finding its own recognisable, completely unique sound.

Each concert begins at 8.00 pm; entry to the hall is possible from 7.30 pm onwards. To attend the concert, we recommend using the funicular railway, which operates until 10.00 pm on the evening of each concert.
The performance of the concerts will be adapted to the current measures related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
