Pianist Nejc Škofic and a rhythm section comprising brothers Žiga and Peter Smrdel will present the project Fidelio. These jazz musicians of the younger generation work in various ensembles (Wckd Nation, Janez Bončina Benč, Vazz, Tonč Feinig, Klemen Slakonja, Okustični, etc.), but this time they will perform in a trio. The idea for Fidelio arose in the dark initial period of last year, when covering the face became a part of everyday life.
On this occasion, however, we will have an opportunity to hear the musicians’ true faces through the premiere performance of their own compositions, which are not limited by any genre.
The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Live music commences at 8.00 pm. On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
