Ratko Zjaca is an award-winning guitarist, composer and recording artist with 16 critically acclaimed recordings under his name, he has recorded and performed with some of the most influential musicians in jazz and modern improvisation music. Ratko Zjaca studied in Rotterdam and New York and since then constantly enriched his experience with appearances and recordings as a sideman and leader. Being known as a relentless individualist he continuously expands his guitar’s vocabulary within today’s world of music, suitable for every musicians, though.He worked with Benny Bailey, Randy Brecker, Gary Peacock, ReggieWorkman, John Pattituci, Al Foster, Steve Gadd, Antonio Sanchez, John Riley,Miroslav Vitous, Ron Carter, Jimmy Cobb, Jeff Tain Watts, Alvin Queen, AdamNussbaum, Shawn Monteiro, Denise Jannah, Simone Zanchini, Renato Chicco, Stefano Bedetti etc.
His music could be described as a poetic contemporary jazz.
The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Live music commences at 8.00 pm.

Ticket sales: sale points at the Ljubljana Castle, Hostel Celica reception, the lower funicular station, www.ljubljanskigrad.si and all www.mojekarte.si sales points (including Petrol service stations, Kompas offices through Slovenia etc.).
On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
