Tomaž Hostnik is a singer-songwriter, chansonnier, poet and visual artist who has written more than a hundred songs and texts in Slovenian, including the entire oeuvre of the bands Vudlenderji, Drajnarjuva vampa and Hostnik pa Krečič, as well as music for children, film, theatre and so on. For his work, he received the Golden Canto at the 14th Kantfest International Singer-Songwriter Festival and the award for the best lyrics at the Slovenian Song Festival (Slovenska Popevka) in 2019 and 2021. In October 2023, he won the Slovenian Chanson Festival, where he also received the award for best music. On this occasion he will appear accompanied by seasoned musicians Matic Plemenitaš, Gregor Kolar, Jaka Krušič and Gregor Hrovat.
