Additional Technical Equipment
When renting a hall, additional technical equipment is available at an additional cost and by prior arrangement.
In the fifteenth century, an access road to the castle passed through Bastion, ending in the Castle Courtyard. Access was initially guarded by an entrance tower. This was later upgraded to the Pipers Tower, which housed the city pipers. Various archaeological finds at this location testify to the presence of man on the Castle Hill since prehistoric times.
