The unique project of violinist Anja Bukovec and jazz pianist Jake Pucihar, who will come together this time in a special genre fusion. A superb program of jazz, pop and classical compositions newly arranged for this band will include compositions by Pat Metheny, George Gershwin, Sting, Michel Camilo, Astor Piazzolla and others. Anja Bukovec is an internationally recognized Slovenian classical violinist and musician, ranked among the very top of contemporary progressive artists, with a recognizable style, unique interpretation and communication with the audience.
Anja Bukovec has collaborated with outstanding musical personalities such as Igor Ozim, Janez Matičič, En Shao, Alan Buribayev, Timothy Redmond, Uroš Lajovic, Marko Letonja, Anton Nanut, Rossen Milanov, George Pehlivanian, Boris Cavazza, multiple BAFTA award winner Christopher Gunning and with top pop/rock artists such as Die Fantasticen 4, Marla Glen, Marque, Jeff Healey
The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Live music commences at 8.00 pm.
