It all started in 2006, after three years of putting together the right team, writing music and lyrics, and arranging songs. Hellcats finally performed in front of the Ljubljana audience. With this performance, the history of all-female heavy metal in our country began.
Hellcats was founded by sisters Saša and Sonja Zagorc, who are also the authors of the lyrics and music. They started performing together as kids, when they were still in music school. Saša studied classical guitar, while Sonja studied flute. Later, Sonja switched to drums and Saša to bass guitar. Due to the small size of the Slovenian music scene, they spent quite some time looking for talented musicians with the desire to play and create in the scope of this type of music genre. There are not many of them in Slovenia, because such a path is tiring and, above all, very atypical for girls.
During their musical career, they had many important performances in Slovenia, Russia, Croatia, Bosnia, Italy, England and Germany.
They are now receiving invitations to the USA, Japan, Argentina and elsewhere in the world.
Hellcats are currently in the studio, preparing a new album.

Admission: €9.00
Ticket sales: sale points at the Ljubljana Castle, Hostel Celica reception, the lower funicular station, www.ljubljanskigrad.si and all www.mojekarte.si sales points (including Petrol service stations, Kompas offices through Slovenia etc.).
On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
