Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club will open its tenth concert season with a performance by the legendary Janez Bončina – Benč. This time, the focus will be on the singer's less exposed, but key, creative side – his connection to jazz. The concert with a top jazz band will intertwine rock energy and jazz freedom. The evening will be a tribute to his rich, more than fifty-year musical journey, along which he will take us with fresh interpretations of hits such as Ta noč je moja, Maja z biseri, Gvendolina, Ob šanku, Florida, Kadar ognji dogorijo, Ostavi trag, Bendologija ... He will also surprise us with exceptional jazz, R&B, soul, pop guests, Nina Strnad and Žan Hauptman. Nina Strnad is one of the most recognizable and unique vocalists on the Slovenian music scene, while Žan Hauptman is currently one of the most interesting Slovenian young wave musicians.

Admission – super early bird: 20 EUR – April, May; early bird: 25 EUR – June, July; regular: 30 EUR – August, September.

On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and at the lower funicular station until 8:45 p.m.
The funicular operates until 11:00 p.m. on the day of the concert.
We recommend arriving on foot, by funicular or by bus. We recommend that you also purchase a funicular or bus ticket at a discounted price of EUR 4.50 when purchasing your concert ticket online. You can then decide on the spot whether you will use the funicular or bus, depending on availability. It is also possible to purchase a one-way ticket at a discounted price of EUR 2.30.
