The band of jazz students from the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet, gathered especially for the castle performance, consists of the gems of the younger Slovenian jazz generation. Most of them have allready performed with the Big Band of RTV Slovenia. Two experienced jazz cats will join them as a guests; Lovro Ravbar and Tadej Kampl.
Joliette Anžlovar has been participating in various festivals and clinics, where she had the opportunity to work with excellent musicians from Slovenia and abroad, such as:, Jure Ivanušič, Ameen Saleem, Michael Janisch, Sanem Kalfa, Nina Strnad, Jure pukl .
Aljoša Kavčič is a student of the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. He completed his studies at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet last year and is the recipient of several awards. He has learned from virtuosos such as Danny Grisset, Jason Lindner, Pedro Martins, Gregory Hutchinson and Alex Sipiagin.
Ian Pirc plays in various bands. He is also a recipient of musical awards. His role models are Ben Wendel, Patrick Bartley, Jure Pukl and Jaka Kopač.
Frančišek Križ plays in stylistically different groups and big bands around Slovenia. His trumpet role models are Freddie Hubbard, Tom Harrell, Nicholas Payton...Lovro Bone regularly collaborates with various established Slovenian musicians and is inspired by drummers such as: Jojo Mayer, Justin Tyson, Simon Phillips.
Lan Bertoncelj is a stylistically rich guitarist who played in the cult Slovenian rock band Ekvorna.

The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Live music commences at 8.00 pm.

On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
