Manouche is certainly one of the most energetic bands on the Slovenian music scene. They play an original blend of styles, which they call 'electro gipsy swing'. Their music also features standard jazz techniques, especially on the two solo instruments, guitar and trumpet.
Manouche announced their arrival on our music scene in the summer of 2011 with the track "Where are you dear?" from their first album. This was followed by three albums, twelve music videos and hundreds of concerts in Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and France, on prestigious locations such as St.Tropez, the Labyrinth de la voix festival in Limoges and the Las noches de san jazz festival in Madrid. ‘Electro Swing Revolution' label from Berlin have included Manouche on several of their own releases.
Their live performances take audiences back to the 1920s and 1930s when fun, dancing and of course great music reigned supreme! So, let Manouche invite you to the dance floor.
