Metod Man (Slo)

Singer Metod Banko studied at the jazz conservatory in Klagenfurt. He has worked with many Slovenian groups, in musicals and as a studio musician. In the group Metod Man, he performs funk/jazz/soul songs from the late 1960s and 1970s. Their repertoire includes pearls from this most fertile period, when the three aforementioned styles arose and became mixed: Sitting on the Dock of the Bay, Low Rider, Compared To What, Cisco Kid, The Creator Has a Masterplan, etc. The lyrics are socially aware and current today, while the music is very groovy and full of improvisation.

The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 8.00 pm to 12:30 am. Live music commences at 9.00 pm.

Tickets can be purchased by 23:00, at the lower funicular station or at the entrance pavilion.
