Since 2016, the southern slopes of the Castle Hill have been covered by the Castle Vineyard, where 1,050 vines of the varieties Belpin and Rdečegrajc grow. Castle vineyards are a feature of some European cities, including Ljubljana.
On the ninth anniversary of the planting of the Castle Vineyard, we are holding an Open Day. Since the vineyard is not open to the public during the year, this will be an opportunity for you to stroll among the vines, get to know our wine story and later perhaps even contribute to creating it. A limited number of bottles of Belpin (Chardonnay) and Rdečegrajc (Zweigelt) from the Castle Vineyard will be available for tasting and purchase. You will also be able to taste Rdečegrajc in our unique product – macaroons. In addition, we will present also a product made from the grape pomace of the castle Belpin – grappa.

In the case of bad weather, the Open Day will be postponed to 16 May, when we celebrate the castle day.
