Open Day at the Castle Vineyard

Since 2016, the southern slopes of the Castle Hill have been covered by the Castle Vineyard, where 1,050 vines of the varieties Belpin and Rdečegrajc grow. Castle vineyards are a feature of some European cities, including Ljubljana.

On the seventh anniversary of the planting of the Castle Vineyard, there will be an Open Day. The vineyard is not open to the public during the year, so the Open Day will be an opportunity for you to stroll through it, get to know our wine story and perhaps even contribute to its creation. A limited number of bottles of Chardonnay or Belpin from the Castle Vineyard will be available for tasting and sale; unfortunately, the bottles of Rdečegrajc are already sold out. You will nonetheless still have a chance to taste this delicious red wine in one of our very special products – macaroons.
