RADIO Si MAIN STAGE on Tour
The beginnings of the radio programme intended for foreign audiences in Slovenia date back to 1985. It was born under the name MM2, briefly grew up as RMI, and for a year and a half at the turn of the new millennium also carried the name STR – Slovenian Tourist Radio. Since 2001, it has been known as RADIO Si (also Radio Slovenia International). Its creators are proud of their history and grateful for the popularity of RADIO Si among listeners across Slovenia. On the eve of their 41st anniversary, they will meet their audience at Ljubljana Castle. They want to connect with their listeners as closely as possible, which is why they have designed events across Slovenia where their supporters can attend and also meet members of their team.
Generator is an electro-acoustic induction that transforms movement into electrical waves. Their story began on Youth Day in 2016, when they found themselves in the middle of a jam session under the same roof in the autonomous cultural zone Sokolc in Novo mesto. Despite all the laws of physics, through fusion they became one big family. Truth be told, half of them come from the same genetic lineage. Singer Anina and her English boyfriend, her mother’s husband, the husband’s friend, the friend’s son, three Turks, and one Emperor. Free from genre limitations, they move within an eclectic fusion of styles that reveals their eccentric mix of personalities while touching on themes of identity and unconditional love. Something for everyone and someone for all. They believe in spreading genuine energy and love across borders and generations, beyond space and time.
The band, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, released an album titled Illusions in March. It received outstanding reviews from music critics and includes the two most-played songs on Val 202 in 2025 – Kej si and Jasno je nebo.
