Pantaloons is one of those bands that will always get any audience on their feet and provide supreme entertainment. Luka Belič (saxophone), Aljaž Markežič (susaphone, synthesizer, ewi) and David Nik Lipovac (drums) met in 2016. At first, they played with musical melodies and rhythms in the form of jam sessions and after the first acoustic musical compositions released Pantaloons EP (2019). Later, their original music found its place in electronic dance music, seasoned with blown rhythms of jazz, funk, breakbeat, dubstep and more. The Pantaloons, was chosen by Radio Študent as part of the Club Marathon, made the Slovenian music audiences wild and performed at the MENT festival and the Liverpool Sound City festival 2020 with the support of INES#talent . In 2021, they performed at the Electric Castle festival in Romania and at the European Youth Event festival in France. The year 2022 was very successful for them; in this year they released their first album entitled Zbounce, they produced a youth theater performance Razcufane otkobi in collaboration with the Ljubljana Youth Theater. In addition to numerous concerts in Slovenia, this year they also performed in Belgrade, Macedonia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium and France at festivals such as Changeover, PIN, Bush, ESNS, Brussels Jazz Weekend and HOP POP HOP. In 2022, they were also semi-finalists of the HEMI Music Awards 2022 network.

Tygroo is Czech Drum’n’Brass/balkan/hip-hop band, wich combines some traditional music genres like klezmer and balkan music with some modern ones, like funk, hiphop, disco, dubstep and other electronic music genres. All that spiced up with a huuge portion of invention and creativity. Playing only drums and winds (and sometimes accordion) this band sounds very unusual, fresh, full of colours and fire, coming sometimes from Odessa or the Guča festival, sometimes from New Orleans or the NY city subway. Come to listen and (most of all) dance to some Klezmer-Funk, Balkan-Jungle, Jazz-Dubstep, Brasshouse, Cave Music, Trashdisco and who knows what else!
The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Live music commences at 8.00 pm.
