Peter Abram

The retrospective exhibition of painter, sculptor, illustrator and art teacher Peter Abram will above all highlight the artist’s sculptural work. His small-format sculptures are imbued with imaginary and magic signs, symbols and ideograms. Some sculptures remind us of ancient pre-classical gods or archaic totems and seem as if they were accidentally preserved until our time. The symbolism of these sculptures appears to be universal, however it is closely linked to the spiritual and material traditions of the Karst region.
