After several successful festival summers in Tivoli Park, Piknikoncerts have been taking place on the castle plateau for the last few summers, in the Defensive Moat beneath the walls of the Ljubljana Castle. Escape the summer heat and make your way to the Ljubljana Castle in the late afternoon. Spread out a picnic blanket, enjoy a snack and relax while listening to ethnic and folk concerts. Bring blankets and full picnic baskets. Invite your friends and don’t forget the children, toys and dogs, as well as lots of positive energy, so that we can all enjoy ourselves together!
PikniKoncert: Before Time
Before Time is a Slovenian band that has established itself on the local music scene by winning two competitions: Špil liga 2019/20 and Šourock 2023/24. Founded in 2017, the band combines elements of rock and indie rock while searching for its own unique musical expression. Over the years, the musicians from Kamnik have evolved and experimented in order to shape an authentic style that reflects their individuality and creative vision. Their music blends energetic guitar riffs with thoughtful lyrics that resonate with a broad audience. Before Time regularly performs across Slovenia, leaving its mark on the Slovenian music scene with every concert. In 2023, they released their debut album OMNI, followed by their second album Vse Kar Smo in March 2026.
