Plečnik in the Eyes of Children

In the year dedicated to architect Jože Plečnik (1872–1957), pupils from Ljubljana’s Jože Moškrič Primary Schoolwill learn aboutthe life and work of the greatest Slovenian architect, Jože Plečnik. The children will be shown Plečnik’s utopian (never realised) plans for the Ljubljana Castle. Under the guidance of mentors in art classes, they will create artworks inspired by Plečnik using a variety of techniques. Plečnik’s realised and unrealised plans for the Ljubljana Castle will serve as a starting point for an exhibition of the children’s artworks in the Viewing Tower at the end of the school year.
