Vasja Vipotnik alias Skova is a rapper, poet and freestyler from Trnovo, known for his socially critical texts marked by strong poetic metaphors. He presented himself to a wider audience for the first time on homeground in 2016 and won 1st place at the Accapela rap Battle - Cajt za fajt. At the end of last year, Skova released his conceptual debut titled Theatrum, with which he combined the power of play and Hip-Hop. The album generated a lot of success, media coverage and interest among listeners from cultural circles. Not long ago, he was twice nominated for singer of the week on Val 202 radio.
After the release of the debut album, Skova formed his own backing group. During the Coronavirus epidemic, Skova gathered talented young musicians from various genres (Kokosy and Kiwi Flash) and thus united them in a band called Skovani, a 7-member Hip-Hop collective with mixture of Rock, Jazz, Funk and many other genres. Skova’s lyrics and the powerful vocals contribute the unifying and representative red thread of the entire band. Skovani's music is based on live instruments, without playback, which is why the experience is even more interesting, especially in Hip Hop circles. The songs are skillfully and intergenerationaly arranged. The lineup also has its own complete scenography, which visually contributes to a better experience.
Skova and Skovani are an indispensable musical experience of clever wordplay and rhythms of live music.

Ticket sales: sale points at the Ljubljana Castle, Hostel Celica reception, the lower funicular station, www.ljubljanskigrad.si and all www.mojekarte.si sales points (including Petrol service stations, Kompas offices through Slovenia etc.).
On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
