Zala Smolnikar creates her own original music, sings and plays piano and percussion. She is currently completing her singing studies at the Gustav Mahler University in neighbouring Austria. She also likes to perform works by other composers, which she infuses with her own interpretation. Her crystal clear voice and sunny energy simply enchant audiences. In addition to her numerous performances, Zala is well known as a finalist of the TV show Slovenia Has Talent as well as for her appearance at the Slovenian Song Festival and as a singer in the dance spectacle Dance Amore. Among other resounding performances are her two solo concerts in Ljubljana’s Congress Square and her major concert with the Krško Big Band at Kamfest in Kamnik. In addition, she recently appeared in the Slovenian crime series Cases of Inspector Vrenko in the role of a jazz vocalist. She is currently recording her first album.

The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Live music commences at 8.00 pm. On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
