Zoran Predin & Damir Kukuruzović Django Group: “Lover from the Closet”

Zoran Predin is a renowned Slovenian musician, poet and singer-songwriter. He is known for his excellent music for numerous Slovenian films, television series and theatre performances, as well as for his countless lyrics, many of which have almost achieved folklore status, and his unforgettable chansons. His career began in 1979, when he founded the rock band Lačni Franz, with whom he recorded sixteen albums over a period of eleven years, including some of his best songs. During his later solo career, he performed with numerous ensembles and experimented with a wide variety of genres. He first worked intensively with Gypsy swing in the project Zoran Predin & Mar Django Quartet in 1998. At the present concert, he will present himself to the audience with the band Damir Kukuruzović Django Group, with whom he has been working closely for many years. Together they will present Predin’s hits from the album Lover from the Closet, as well as all of his greatest hits.
