All of the stated prices apply to one person.

Visitors are permitted to use the funicular and enter the Castle Courtyard with dogs that are on a leash and wearing a muzzle, but dogs are not permitted to enter the interior spaces of the castle.

The following persons are eligible for free admission:

• Children under 7 years of age accompanied by their parents (not valid for organised groups – kindergartens, schools).

• Persons with restricted movement with an accompanying person, and persons with special needs (not applicable to guided tours, Escape Castle, audioguide and organised groups with a 50 % discount on the ticket price).

• Holders of valid membership cards of ICOM (not valid for guided tours, Escape Castle, audioguide and funicular railway).

Toilet facility user fee: there is a fee of € 1.00 /person for using the toilet facilities at the Ljubljana Castle. The receipt for use of the facilities is valid as a coupon for purchases at the castle Souvenir Shop.

The Ljubljana Castle is a monument of cultural significance; prior to photographing or filming on the exterior surfaces for commercial purposes, permission must be obtained from the Ljubljana Castle Public Institute and a fee of € 300.00 must be paid (VAT is not included in the price).
