Taking Marriage Vows at an Official Wedding Venue
At the Ljubljana Castle, the White and Blue Halls are designated as official wedding venues. Renovated in a modern style and overlooking the Castle Courtyard, the two halls are integrated into the historical environment of the castle, giving wedding ceremonies a pleasant hint of the past.
Future spouses can apply to take marriage vows at the Administrative Unit of Ljubljana, Department for Counters and Local Offices (Oddelku za okenca in krajevne urade), at Tobačna Ulica 5 (entrance from Bleiweisova Ulica), where more detailed information can be obtained on taking marriage vows and the available dates for doing so.

For taking marriage vows in the area of the Ljubljana Administrative Unit, there are designated official venues at the Ljubljana Castle (WHITE and BLUE Halls), where marriage vows can be taken on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Wedding Receptions at the Castle Café
All wedding couples who decide to have a civil ceremony in one of the wedding halls at the Ljubljana Castle have the option of a short wedding reception in the Castle Café after the wedding ceremony.
The duration of the wedding reception is 40 minutes.

- 1 pastry filled with Carniolan sausage or buckwheat gruel
