Sunnysiders were founded as a blues duo by singer, guitarist, organist, and composer Boris Hrepić Hrepa, better known as the bassist and co-founder of Daleka Obala, and singer and guitarist Antonija Vrgoč Rola. In 2011, they represented Croatia at the 27th International Blues Challenge in Memphis, the world's largest competition for blues musicians, and made it to the semi-finals. After Memphis, the band expanded and recorded 3 albums: 2011. License to Blues (Porin nomination), 2016. 10 Kartolina from the far coast and 2017. Click play (winner of the Fender Award for the best blues album of the season). They have shared the stage with Johnny Winter, Ana Popović, Eric Sardinas, Eric Noden and Joe Filisk, Norman Beaker. Their new album The Bridges, released for Dancing Bear 2020, marks 10 years of Sunnysiders and has received 40 excellent reviews on domestic and especially foreign portals and blues magazines. The American Roots Music Report ranked The Bridges as one of the 100 best blues albums of 2020.

The Sunnysiders released their fifth album - 27 Stitches - in October this year, which has been on the American Contemporary Blues Roots Music Report's Top 50 chart for seven consecutive weeks.
