Together with the Ljubljana Castle, the Strelec Restaurantis preparing a unique culinary experience again this summer: Dinner at the Castle Vineyard.
Indulge in superb culinary delights complemented with carefully selected wines in the magical Castle Vineyard, which extends across the southern slope of the Castle Hill. Since 2016, as many as 1,050 grapevines of the varieties Castle Belpin and Rdečegrajc have been growing in the vineyard.
Seasonal vegetables and fruits, quality ingredients from local growers – all linked to the grapevine – will be woven into a six-course dinner under the stars that you simply have to experience.
Chef Igor Jagodic, who is the recipient of numerous awards, including prestigious Michelin Star for 2023 and 2024 and a Michelin Recommendation for 2025, will pamper you among the castle grapevines. He and his team have also won four Gault & Millau Toques (with 17,5 points out of 20) and four Falstaff Forks (with 95 points out of 100), which is further confirmation that he is creating an exceptional culinary story above the city.
From the Castle Park, follow the signs leading you to the vineyard in the direction of the tree-lined avenue. If you arrive on the road Cesta kmečkih uporov, which leads to the castle, turn left towards the vineyard at the large flower bend. Regardless of which path you take, we recommend comfortable footwear.
In the case of bad weather, the dinner will be served in the Strelec Restaurant at the Ljubljana Castle.

The number of places is limited. Reservations are required and are accepted by email at info@restavracija-strelec.si up to and including two days before the dinner.
When making a reservation, please inform us of any dietary restrictions you may have. The reservation is confirmed after payment of the advance invoice.
