Jungle Fever is an exclusive music project. A group of established Slovenian musicians who love to play funk, soul, jazz and RnB have prepared a special program of original compositions and groovy evergreens from the treasury of so-called Black American Music. Jungle Fever is also an American slang term for an interracial love affair. Spike Lee made an interesting movie with this title in the 90s.
Maja Keuc Amaya started her musical career at the age of 17 and was immediately recognized as one of the most promising voices in Slovenia. In 2011 she represented her homeland at the biggest music festival in Europe - Eurovision and achieved the best Slovenian ranking so far. She graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory of Music in 2016 and continued her studies at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. After the release of her first international debut, Fairytales, she received an invitation from the Baggpipe publishing house, which works under the mentorship of one of the most successful songwriters, Anders Bagg, responsible for the hit songs of Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Anastacia, etc. In recent years, Maja has attracted the attention of almost all her idols (Quincy Jones, Craig David, Jhene Aiko, H.E.R., Yebba, Anomalie, Snoh Aalegra) on her Instagram profile with her interpretations of well-known songs.

The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Live music commences at 8.00 pm.

Ticket sales: sale points at the Ljubljana Castle, Hostel Celica reception, the lower funicular station, www.ljubljanskigrad.si and all www.mojekarte.si sales points (including Petrol service stations, Kompas offices through Slovenia etc.).
On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
