Jure Slapar is one of the most active Slovenian guitarists, both in Slovenia and abroad. After completing the Conservatory of Music in Ljubljana, he continued his education at the Jazzcampus Academy in Basel and graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts. He gathered his knowledge under the mentorship of world-renowned masters, such as: Lionel Loueke, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Aydin Esen, Alex Sipiagin, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Bernstein, David Friedman and others. He was selected as a member of the prestigious FocusYear program/band in Basel for the 2023/2024 season. He is the recipient of several awards at temsig competitions. He regularly performs with various bands at home and abroad. He performed several times as a soloist with the Big Band of RTV Slovenia, and he also had the honor of sharing the stage with one of the most renowned pianists, Aydin Esen. The Jure Slapar quartet also consists of excellent Slovenian musicians.
You can expect an energetic musical treat, mostly original compositions that draw inspiration from the fusion of different genres, from jazz, rock to hip hop.

On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and the lower funicular station until 8.45 pm. The concert ticket includes a return journey on the funicular, which operates until 11.00 pm on the day of the concert.
