In our beautiful environment, we will also organise a wedding reception with selected culinary tastes according to your wishes.

At the Ljubljana Castle, the White and Blue Halls are designated as official wedding venues. Renovated in a modern style and overlooking the Castle Courtyard, the two halls are integrated into the historical environment of the castle, giving wedding ceremonies a pleasant hint of the past.
You can say your momentous “yes” in one of eleven spaces at the Ljubljana Castle. Get married in one of the castle rooms or outdoors, where we will prepare a magical ceremony for you.
A wedding ceremony in the unique Chapel of St George is something very special. Experience a genuine castle wedding fairy tale that will enchant both you and your wedding guests.

If your wedding ceremony does not take place at the castle, you can choose just to take wedding photos with the beautiful castle backdrop. Please contact us to obtain consent so that we can find the right time and place for you.

Engagement is the start of your journey together. If you decide to take the next step, get married at the Ljubljana Castle, within a years time from your Engagement we can offer you a 10 % disscount at renting a hall.

Due to the fact that the Ljubljana Castle is a cultural monument, serving food and drinks in the area of the Ljubljana Castle, the Castle Park and the parking area is not permitted. Throwing rice and confetti is not permitted, but soap bubbles are allowed. In the case that you would like to use the exterior areas of the Ljubljana Castle for wedding videos or photographs, but the wedding ceremony does not take place at the Ljubljana Castle, you must obtain the prior consent of the Ljubljana Castle Public Institution and provide an advance payment of €300. VAT is not included in the price.
